Posti Group Corporation is Finland’s state postal service, delivering mail and parcels across the country. The digitalisation of this national institution’s products and services – currently well underway – is simply the latest chapter of a history spanning nearly 400 years.

OmaPosti began when Posti became aware that its customers would appreciate comprehensive digitalisation of its products and services. Crucially, the project was initiated with a mobile-first attitude. With an Android app already in its beta stage, Posti – working with Qvik – turned to Lucky Few to create the iOS equivalent.
The app allows Posti’s customers to make use of all its most popular services on the go. From sending parcels and tracking both incoming and outgoing items, to receiving and paying electronic invoices, OmaPosti has brought a new level of accessibility and ease to services the entire country depends on.

The OmaPosti iOS app has been warmly received by its users: at the time of writing, it sits at #5 in Utilities in the Finnish App Store, with an over-all rating of 4.4 stars based on 13,200 ratings. But the journey is just beginning, with further services to be added to the app, and more updates to follow later.
